i cant wait to read rikers high it looks like a really great book i am on the first page and i almost couldnt put it down
i read rikers high over the looooong weekend and it was amazing i couldnt even put it down martian goes through alot and having his dad upstate and his mother is takeing care of his sisters and grandmother he lost a friend along the way he went through grieving i was amazed he also got a cut from a razor i am surprised he didnt cry this story is amazing a sevetten yr old on rikers island

I read response it was very good book and it showed how far you can get in life with the right state of mind,and the right influences. It was a real life book that shows real life struggles of teenagers today.
rikers high is amazing i couldnt even put it down this book i recommend to anyone who loves to read alot paul volponis books are very inspiring he went through alot of things but their was a very inspiring teacher that was their for him and that teacher helped him along the way i know i already put a comment about rikers high but i just had to put another one
I read Hurricane Song and I thought it was a really good book that dealt with the hard time of Hurricane Katrina. I liked how the family dealt with the situation by looking out for each other.

Being someone who's played poker with his Dad, I could connect very well with "The Hand Your Dealt." I enjoy the action you pack into your books.
I read the book response and I really enjoyed the book. I thought it was a book that some teenagers could relate to. This book has life lessons and Shows that you can get far in the things you do, by who you hang out with and how much determination you have in what you want to do.
I read your book Hurricane Song and loved it! It made me realize the damage that Hurricane Katrina did not only to New Orleans, but to the lives of many.
i read the hurrican storm. i found the book to keep my interest. i personally think that the book was a really good and easy quick pace read. i would recomend it to people.
I read hurricane song and I thought it was an extremely touching book. The things that Miles has to go through between his parents is enough but then having to move to New Orleans and make a new life only to have it devestated not long after is moving. As I read sometimes I couldn't help but think "If I was him, I might have given up by now" and Miles having the courage to stand up for what he wanted or believed in motivated me to believe in myself and what I wanted.
I read "Response". It was a good book and I felt it showed the different peerceptions of a hate crime & how everyone is affected. Noah goes through a hard time but comes out on top.
I read, Rooftop, and I really enjoyed it! Its so real, and some people could really relate to it. I couldn't put it down!

I read black and white for a book report and i thought it was rilly good. the only thing i did not like was how the whit kid got away with it and he shot that man and the black kid had to go to jail for that.
